The Cow is found throughout the world.
Feeding on pasture, it is the main milk
producer for western countries, and is
quite timid by nature, despite it's size.
The Elephant is found both in Africa, and
Asia. It is by far the largest animal on
land. It's large ears help to keep it's 
head cool, Its long trunk can grab food.
This Tree Frog lives in the jungles of
South America. Despite it's small size
it is a deadly creature. It has one of
the most lethal venoms known to man.
The Fox, and it's relations, are common
throughout Europe. In recent years, it
has succesfully adapted to urban life,
and is a common sight in towns & cities.
The Gopher is a small rodent, native to
The Americas. It is famous for making
vast burrow systems in arid desert areas
It is regarded as a pest by farmers.
The Gorilla, according to Darwinian
theory, is only one evolutionary step
below man and, indeed Gorillas show
remarkable intelligence, and eat bamboo.
The Hippopotamus, is found in Africa.
A large creature, it keeps cool by 
wallowing in mud pools, and rivers.
If you're between it and mud, beware!
The Penguin is a medium, flightless bird
found in Polar climates.It is an expert
swimmer, and uses it's prowess to catch
fish, which are it's principle food.
The Polar Bear is a fearsome creature.
Living in Polar regions, it preys on
other creatures, like Fish, or Penguins
It will readily attack Man, so watch out.
The Puma is one of the smaller 'big' cats
It has been rumoured that some live in the
British Isles, but aside from some blurry
photos, and tracks, no evidence has arisen.
The Reindeer, or Caribou, is found in Canada
and is used as a labour animal. The male's
antlers are used for fighting other males
in courtship battles, or for self defence.
The Tiger is the largest of all big cats.
Found in the Jungles and plains of Africa,
it preys on other big game, including
Wildebeast, and sometimes, human beings.
The Wolf, once common thoughout Europe,
is now largely extinct in the region.
A pack animal, they would rarely attack
people, but terrified long ago travellers.
The Acorn Rooms system is a new way of
sorting through, and digesting large
quantities of information, such as may be
found on the information superhighway.
Moving the mouse will turn you in 3d space.
The left button moves forward in the office.
The middle button freezes the display,
And floats the cursor for 2D interaction. 
The right button steps into an object.
All 3 buttons steps out a level.
Tapestries are 3 dimensional documents which
exist in the Acorn Rooms system. They may
integrate sound, video and all manner of
multimedia information. Visually, a tapestry
appears as if one were inside a cube, with
various items of data on each of the walls.
Included in this demo is another document
on the lower shelf, which better shows the
ideas behind the system. Clicking the mouse
To the sides of the document, when selected,
will spin the cube, and show different types
of ordering on each of the six faces.
Clicking on an item will go into a tapestry.
